Commissioning a Painting
A commission is an opportunity to have a one of a kind, unique piece of art work created just for you.
Process and Timescale
An initial consultation is held to understand your preferences, design goals, and the overall vision for your commissioned piece. This includes discussing size, color palette, style, and any specific themes or inspiration you'd like to incorporate. These details will be used to formulate a quote.
After our consultation, I will develop a concept that embodies your ideas. I'll provide you with a color palette, giving you the opportunity to provide feedback before I proceed with the final piece.
Once the details have been finalized, a summarization will be sent and the work commences. Throughout the process, photo and video updates are shared and client feedback is incorporated into the work.
Payment
Once an agreement has been made, a deposit of 50% will be taken to secure your art work. After the commission is complete, the remaining 50% is requested upon pickup/delivery.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does it take to complete a commissioned painting?
The timeline for completing a commissioned piece varies depending on current workload and the complexity and size of the project. The typical turnaround time for a commission is between 2-3 weeks.
Can I request changes during the painting process?
Absolutely! I want to ensure that your commissioned artwork meets your expectations. I will provide regular updates and am open to incorporating your feedback throughout the process.
How much does a commissioned abstract painting cost?
Pricing is determined by several factors, including the size, complexity, and materials used for the piece. I'll provide a detailed quote during the initial consultation, so you'll have a clear understanding of the cost before moving forward.
How do I care for my new abstract painting?
To maintain the longevity and vibrancy of your artwork, avoid direct sunlight and use a soft, lint-free cloth to gently clean the surface. If necessary, consult a professional art conservator for specialized cleaning and maintenance.
